Welcome to spun•up inc. (“spun•up,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how our website spunup.ca (the “Website”) works and what you can expect when you shop with us.

By placing an order or using our Website, you agree to these Terms and to the rights and responsibilities set out under Québec and Canadian consumer protection laws.

1. Who We Are

spun•up inc. is a Québec company that sells 100% recycled luxurious wool yarn. Our mission is to give new life to materials and provide makers with high-quality, sustainable yarns.

2. Our Products

  • Each ball of yarn is made from 100% recycled fibers without use of dyes, which means colours, textures, and thickness may vary slightly. This is normal and part of what makes our yarn unique.
  • We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photos, but colours may look different depending on your screen.
  • Product availability may change without notice.

3. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable Québec and Canadian sales taxes.
  • Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
  • We accept payment by [insert methods, e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.].
  • Your payment must clear before we ship your order.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently ship across Canada. International shipping may be available; extra costs, duties, or customs fees are your responsibility.
  • Orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days. Shipping times vary by location and carrier, and we can’t guarantee exact delivery dates.
  • Once the package is marked delivered by the carrier, responsibility passes to you.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, not as described or you've simple changed your mind, let us know at tangled in a question? with your order number.
  • All purchases on spun•up.ca can be returned for a full refund, less shipping fees, within 365 days of purchase.
  • Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was our mistake.
  • Items that have been used, wound, or altered can’t be returned.
  • Clearance or final sale items are not returnable unless defective.

Important: As a Québec customer, you also benefit from the legal warranties under the Consumer Protection Act. This means goods must be durable for normal use and free from hidden defects. These rights apply automatically, even if we don’t mention them in our policy.

6. Your Account

If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your account if your information is shared.

7. Our Intellectual Property

All Website content, including photos, designs, text, and logos, belongs to spun•up inc. You may use it for personal purposes only—you cannot copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our permission.

8. Limits of Liability

  • We are not responsible for indirect or accidental damages (like lost time, loss of use, or frustration) that may result from using our Website or Products.
  • If we are found responsible for something, our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.
  • These limits do not reduce your rights under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, in line with Québec’s Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector and Canadian privacy laws.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes must be handled in the courts of the judicial district where spun•up inc. is registered.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use our Website after updates, you agree to the new Terms.
